Fine dining, and even finer food, are central to the French way of life – which perhaps explains why French dining tables are such exquisite items of furniture. They’re the focal point and the centre piece of the room. Big enough to accommodate large families and huge platters, but not so large as to be decadent or ostentatious. And, like all things French, they’re perfectly formed, solidly built, and beautiful to look at.
